Bloom (Support for Families with Special Needs)
Raelyn Martinello
"Call it BLOOM. Just as all kinds of flowers needs special things to make
them bloom, special-needs kids like us need different things to help us
bloom." -Katie age 11
Bloom is a ministry to support families who are affected by special needs and disabilities. The support will include: events for families to connect with other families and individuals who are facing similar challenges, marriage support, sibling support, prayer support, encouragement and spiritual growth in both the individual with special needs as well as the entire family, and acceptance.

BreakPoint (Respite Assistance)
Rosanne Rose
We at BreakPoint have a heart for people who are at their own breaking point and need a reprieve from the daily care of special-needs children or adults. We also want to offer respite care for single parent's who simply need a break and a time of refreshing and cannot find an immediate babysitter. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, " Come unto me, all you who labor and heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
We understand the importance of Respite Care for those who are nearing that "edge", and the increasing need for it in our church body. We want to give you the "Gift of Time".

Compassion (Grief Support)
Lesli Wessell
Jesus said that we are to bear each other's burdens, and to "Weep with those who weep" (Galatians 6:2, Romans 12:15). Our compassionate team members have experienced many forms of grief, ranging from death of a loved one, sudden incarceration of a family member, abortion, birth of a handicapped or still-born child, bankruptcy, a lost job, divorce or adultery, or a family member who has walked away from the Lord.
We want to help you with your burden and partner with you as you face the challenges of loss.

Dinner is Done (Meal Assistance)
Annette Salsburey
Our team members at Dinner is Done offer prepared or purchased meals for families touched by illness, death in the family, parents with new babies, and other sudden life challenges. We will be sensitive to food preferences and allergies, as well as families with small children.
Let us feed your body, soul, and spirit while you face these hurdles.

Healing Touch (Hospital and In-Home Visitation)
Jerry Williams
Are you or a loved one sick or injured? Facing surgery or recuperating at home? Jesus instructed us to "Call the church leaders together to pray and anoint you with oil in the name of the Master, and the prayer of faith will raise you up". (James 5:14-15)
We will come to wherever you are, whether at the Emergency, at the hospital, or at home and annoint and pray with you and your family during this tough time. We will even bring and serve you communion when requested.
You shouldn't have to go through these challenges alone. We are here ready to help and support you.

Helping Hands (Domestic Assistance)
Alaina Blake
Sometimes during the difficulties and crises in life, your attention is demanded everywhere else but your home. We are here to assist you in cleaning, shopping, or other domestic chores that need to get done. Various people in our congregation are ready to assist you through these challenging seasons and lend a hand.

In His Service (Support for Those in the Military and Their Families)
Dave Martinez
It is our desire to partner with families who are in the military or have a loved one who is serving in our armed forces. Our partnership may include giving comfort, encouragement, or simply crying alongside one another as we pray together for peace and protection of our servicemen, our country, and for our world.
We also want to minister in prayer regarding unresolved past or present issues of those who have already served. We believe that our God is a God of yesterday, today and tomorrow and He can see us through our challenges and restore our joy. It is our hope to bring awareness to our church in lifting and recognizing our military members who have served, and are serving, to keep the very freedoms we enjoy, such as our freedom to worship.

Joyride (Transportation to Church)
Ross Pebley
No child or adult should miss fellowshipping at church because of the lack of transportation. People in our congregation come from all over the Santa Clarita Valley and have a space in their car for one more. Give us a call so those who live close to you can "swing by" and get you to church. We are here to give you a lift!

Love Your Neighbor (Disaster Relief Ministry)
Gary Grubbs
Jesus said we are to love our neighbor as ourselves (Matthew 22:39). One way to love your neighbor is to train and prepare for disasters.
Our purpose within the City of Santa Clarita is to train, prepare and equip church members to serve in crisis and disaster situations. We will feed the hungry; clothe the naked; support the broken hearted; provide physical assistance and spiritual care where possible; in crisis and disaster environments (Matt. 25: 35-40).

Making Change (Financial Coaching)
Michael Weitzman
Knowing your financial condition is important. We need to be able to provide for our needs as it says in Proverbs 27:23-27, "Know well the condition of your flocks, and pay attention to your herds; for riches are not forever, nor does a crown endure to all generations. . ."
Among other things, this ministry will help you (1) successfully accomplish your goals and objectives and live on a financial plan—now and in the future, (2) understand how giving is a vital part of the plan (3) save and build an Emergency Fund, (4) repay debt on time, and (5) handle money based on the principles of the Bible.

Moving Forward (Packing and Moving Assistance)
(Leader Needed)
Do you need to move or re-locate suddenly? Our ministry is composed of people in our congregation who are gifted at packing household belongings, and who can also assist loading and unloading transportation vehicles. Let us help you get moving.

Pit Stop (Auto Repair and Maintenance Assistance)
Jim Collins
Pit Stop is comprised of a variety of automotive savvy people in our congregation who are willing to assist with auto repair and maintenance for those who cannot afford to have it done. Understanding that there are some limitations on what we can accomplish, we'll do our best to get you back on the road. There will also be instruction on how to do self maintenance.

Resume Work (Assistance with Resumes)
(Leader Needed)
Have you recently been displaced or laid off from your job? Are you re-entering the work field after many years? We want to help you create, update and prepare your resume and give you the "tools" to help you market yourself and get you back into the work force.

This Old House (Home Repair and Maintenance Assistance)
James Blake
Our ministry is a group of various handymen and/or women with a variety of experience in home repair and maintenance.
Do you have a squeaky door? Burnt out light in the ceiling? Leaky faucet? Broken window? Let us help you.
Need a Blue-Ray player hooked up? A desk moved to the spare bedroom? We can handle it.
How about a drawer that won't close right? A window A/C unit installed? Serving you is what we're all about.
We can also help teach you how to do self maintenance.

Thrive (Biblical and Practical Life Coaching)
Dave and Mary Martinez
We are here to encourage, build up, motivate, inspire, pray with, and offer any help we can to our fellow Christian. Sometimes all we need is someone to encourage and give us a little direction to bring us back into focus in our walk with the Lord. Our coaching might even entail short term discipleship in specific areas.

Triage (Crisis Coaching)
Pastor Gary Howse
Crisis Coaching is designed for those facing an immediate emergency requiring help far beyond their ability. (examples could include: life and death, financial ruin, relational severing, a crime, large loss) 1 Cor. 10:13 says, God has a design for us to walk through any debilitating circumstance by His grace and power. This is an immediate response team for the short term, who will help you handle the moment by using the Word of God and prayer.

We Do (Marital Coaching)
Javier and Jody Fernandez
This ministry offers marriage coaching to those who need encouragement, support, or an opportunity for change.
Whatever age or stage of marriage you might be at, sometimes a little help is needed to break patterns or ruts that couples can lean towards.
God's intent for marriage is for couples to be helpmates to one another. Your marriage partner can be your best friend! This coaching model is intended to offer another perspective which can lead to helpful change in relationships so that couples can experience the fullness of God's intent for their marriage.
